Error message – 60072014: Domain not allowed
Cause- This error occurs if you have configured domain restrictions wrongly or are checking on website where the video was not supposed to play. Due to this, the server is not allowing other domains to play the video. If you want to play your content, kindly use the below syntax for domain restriction setting and put your website domain name instead of “mysite.com” in example.
Fix- Below are the Domain Restriction Settings Guidelines:
- Account Level Domain Restriction can be done from Dashboard Config section here – https://www.vdocipher.com/dashboard/config
- Kindly put a simple domain name in the restriction setting. Do not use https, HTTP , www, // etc.
E.g. mysite.com or mysite.com/course (and not https://www.mysite.com ) - For multiple domains to be restricted -It is possible to specify multiple URLs, but the structure is a little different. You need to specify multiple domains separated by the | (pipe character) and enclose it in parentheses.
Example:
(example0.com|example1.com|example2.com)
Use the above as a string. The parenthesis is also part of that string. - Any change in the domain restriction setting will be automatically effective for future API and WordPress/Moodle plugin-based playbacks. For Iframe embed, the older Iframes will have old domain restriction settings; for new domain restriction settings to be effective, Iframes have to be generated again
